As a young child, I chose something that silenced my conscience. Consequently, I spent the next five decades searching for that presence, following clues through philosophy, religion, psychology, and personal experience.
Nothing made sense until I started to compare writings that traditional societies explored long ago. Conscience, Lost & Found is the story of that quest. The discovery that conscience is not the teaching of any one faith or ideology. Conscience is a deeply human capacity that bridges traditions.

“...emotionally sympathetic, intellectually sophisticated, but all the while, utterly accessible.”
Douglas L. Berger of the Institute for Philosophy at Leiden University, The Netherlands “This book serves as an excellent guide, reminding modern people—who are wandering and have lost their way in life—of something vital they are overlooking: the very existence of the voice of the soul and the importance of listening to it.”
